Helping Hands?

Now that we have a more daring explorer on our hands, Ben is working to finish child-proofing our cabinets. Lila was quick to offer her assistance at holding the door (and closing it) for Daddy! Even with the latch on there, she can stick her skinny little arm in the door, so I have to make sure nothing is within reach or able to fit through that space!

Kitchen Fun

Lila has spent considerable time playing in the bottom drawer where I keep plastic containers. She usually sits or kneels to empty it out. Yesterday was the first time she opened the second drawer from the bottom and stood to empty it out. She is getting better at standing... and also at opening drawers!

Texas Bluebonnets

This past weekend we drove down to Ennis, Texas to see the bluebonnets. Lila really liked to touch the flowers! It was really windy, but otherwise a very nice day.

So big!

Lila has learned to raise her arms when asked, "How big is Lila?" She loves to hear "So big!" and will often raise her arms again immediately before we have time to ask the question again.
