The Past Few Weeks

My mom left today. The past few weeks she has been here to help me. It has been so nice to enjoy her cooking, as well as have some adult company during the day. Thanks Mom! Here are some pictures taken during that time. Some are a little out of order.

One Month

When Lila was a baby, I took a picture of her each month to document her growth. I used a Boppy pillow as my "constant" in each picture to have something for comparison. With Wyatt, I decided to use something smaller (the stuffed moose). The Boppy worked great to sit Lila in... until she started to move :) Hopefully the moose will work a little better! Here's a 1 month picture of Wyatt (10 lbs. 14 oz.) and one of Lila (10 lbs. 1/2 oz.).

Halloween

Our Small Group had a Halloween party. For our costumes, we decided to go "on safari"... we managed to capture a little lion and tiger to complete the picture.

Fuzzy Hair

In the hospital, Wyatt had a hat on most of the time, so it wasn't until we were home and I washed his hair that I realized how fuzzy it was.

Look alike?

Several have asked me if Wyatt looks like Lila when she was born. The answer... you decide.

Big Sister, Little Brother

Things are going pretty well with Lila and Wyatt. She likes to "pet him" on the head, give him his pacifier (even when he's sleeping), and give us a running commentary on what he's doing (he's crying, he's talking, he's poopy!) Occasionally she also wants to hold him too. It is clear she is very taken with him... hopefully that will continue! :-)

Taking Care of My Baby

Some great friends of ours gave us a doll set (stroller, car seat and pack-n-play) that their daughter had outgrown. We gave them to Lila when we brought Wyatt home. She has had so much fun taking care of her baby the way we take care of Wyatt... especially using the pack-n-play as we have that set up in our bedroom for Wyatt.
